This is the Lantern client, and the real lib/search.js the host runs, running in your browser over a pre-built copy of the starter pack.

What this demo is not: the host. A real Lantern serves this same page and this same index from one device on your Wi-Fi, with the network cable out. Here the library is embedded in this page, so nothing is fetched at all and nothing is pretended.
