Canteen
Order from your table over the room's own Wi-Fi. Guests tap a menu and send an order from their seat; the kitchen sees every table live. No accounts, no internet, no telemetry — the orders never leave your network.

How it works
One machine starts a room host (node host/room.js), seeds
the menu and prints its LAN address. Each device opens this board, pastes the
address and taps Join room. Orders and status changes travel over the local
network — Server-Sent Events one way, plain POST the other — with no framework, no
server to sign into and nothing to install. Prices come from the room's menu, never
from the message, so a table can't mis-price an order. A late joiner is caught up
from the host's history automatically.
