Veterinary homeopathy — disease & drug index
The animal conditions of daily practice, by species: recognition signs for orientation, first remedies in a single line, linked to the full remedy portraits.
Before the remedies. These tables are a study and quick-reference aid, not a substitute for a veterinarian. Fever of unknown cause, colic, bloat, mastitis, milk fever and snakebite are veterinary emergencies — the recognition signs here tell you when to call, and the remedies support, never replace, professional care. Modern veterinary medicine — antibiotics, vaccines, surgery — remains the foundation of animal health.

General rules of the old veterinary books
- Dose by temperament, not size alone — the old texts remind that a nervous terrier and a placid mastiff of equal weight differ.
- The same remedy, the same law — the veterinary materia medica borrows the human one; the species changes, the keynote does not.
- Observe before and after — the farmyard offers what the clinic cannot: continuous observation of the recovering animal.
- Emergencies first — colic, bloat, milk fever, snakebite and wound shock travel to the vet while the remedy travels with them.
